Food & Wellness is a wonderful collection of over 30 vegetarian and vegan recipes with contributions from local restaurants, pubs and food producers. It also includes recipes from well-known people you will recognise alongside members of staff at Sobell House. There is a wonderful recipe for Whole Eggs in Coconut Masala from Rick Stein; a very tasty Tzatziki from Oxford’s Florence Pugh; a Burrata with Broad Bean and Almond Pesto from our national treasure and friend of Sobell House, Huw Edwards and a mouth-watering Bengali Dhal from our very own Sobell Charity Ambassador and ‘This Country’s Revd Francis’, Paul Chahidi.
It also includes recipes from some of Oxfordshire’s finest food producers. Here are a few: Le Cassoulet Méditerranéen from The Old Bookbinders in Jericho; Mixed Vegetable Creamy Coconut Curry from the incredible Taste Tibet; Twice Baked Cheese Soufflé with Granny Smith Apple, Toasted Hazelnut and Watercress Salad from The Yurt at Nicholsons; Roast Cauliflower with Pistachio & Capers from the Parsonage Grill and many more. And finally, recipes from Paul Allday, Dr Victoria Bradley and Dr Mary Miller, who all work at Sobell House and produce fine food.
